President Weah Receives Letters of Credence From Five Ambassadors

Monrovia, Liberia - As a further manifestation of international confidence in the leadership of President George Manneh Weah, and in the stability of the state, diplomats from five countries have joined their compatriots in taking up ambassadorial sojourn in the Country.

Since 2018 when the 24th President of the Republic was inaugurated, dozens of foreign diplomats and organizations continue to troop into the country in apparent appreciation of, and expression of trust in, the state of affairs of Liberia underpinned by transformative development and peace.

The five new diplomats who, on Thursday, February 23, 2023, presented Letters of Credence to the Liberian Leader at the Executive Mansion were Amb. Jeroen Verheul of The Netherlands, Amb. Kim Young-Chae of South Korea, Amb.Tom Noring of Denmark, Amb. Ms. Leena Pylvanainen of Finland, and Amb. Mrs. Ingrid Mollestad of Norway.

In separate ceremonies during the day, President Weah and individual envoys exchanged pleasantries and paid tributes to each other and reflected on longtime, mutually rewarding relationships cherished over the years.
